On both of our trips today we got the opportunity to watch multiple minke whales and humpback whales Pinball and Hornbill. This morning we started with a few of the 5 minke whales sighted during the trip before spending time with Pinball.

As we enjoyed this wild whale in its natural habitat another humpback whale suddenly appear nearby. It was another familiar whale, Hornbill!

On on way home we even saw another minke whale this time inside of the Isles of Shoals.

This afternoon our trip started inside the Shoals with some fantastic looks at a minke whale slowly traveling along.

We continued on further offshore, seeing a total of 4 minke whales, before watching Pinball and Hornbill.

While we checked out these baleen whales we even saw a basking shark swimming right towards us! What a fun surprise.

Not only do the whales enjoy the small schooling fish, bluefin tuna enjoy eating the same creatures! This fishing boat hooked up to a tuna and off they went trying to reel it in! |
