Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, the sun was out and the wind had calmed a bit since yesterday. Heading out towards Jeffreys Ledge we found a stealthy fin whale, so big and so sleek!

After a few looks we were back on our way. Further offshore, we came across Patchwork with a familiar humpback whale, Valley! The two were slowly on the move, and with the calm seas, provided some beautiful looks at these whales.

We also attempted to check out another fin whale but with this whale on the move, and along with a distant look at a minke whale, it was time to head back to the mainland.

For our birding friends, the storm petrels are out in full force. So many offshore. A fun sight watching them "dance" on the water!

Happy 2022 Season!

The day has finally arrived, a new season is here! It was a little cloudy, a little windy, a little swelly and even a little rainy. We spent time with two humpback whales, Sword and Patchwork! A couple great whales to start off the season.

We even had a fun sighting of a gray seal eating some lunch! It was wonderful to be back out on the water and look forward to so many memories to come this season. We look forward to seeing you!

Time to eat!
