This afternoon we had another fantastic trip with great looks at 4 different whale species totaling 12 minke whales, 6 fin whales, and 2 humpback whales! We also had a quick look at a small group of harbor porpoise and a phenomenal look at a Mola mola. The humpback whales Owl and Hornbill were both still in the area and came right over to us as we sat with our engines shut off. We were so lucky to have the perfect weather and ocean conditions today as well as fantastic whales!!

Well, it was another amazing day to spend on the water today! On our morning trip we saw each of the 5 most commonly sighted species in this area (Finback, Humpback, Minke, Atlantic White Sided Dolphins and Harbor Porpoise). Pinball and her calf were in the area again and her calf treated us to quite a show! While Pinball was on deeper dives the calf was rolling and playing at the surface. Among the other whales that we saw in the morning were Hornbill, Owl and Fin whale #0723. On our way home we were fortunate to get some up close looks at the tall ship Oliver Hazard Perry.
