July 31 - August 1, 2023

Monday was beautiful. The weather and the whales went hand in hand - pure perfection. Simply stated by some of our passengers, our trips were "heaven," "A+," and "stunning." Wildlife at its finest with plenty of moments to remember. Monday's morning trip included five humpback whales (Valley and her 2023 calf, Clamp, Dyad, and Jawa), a pod of ~12 Atlantic white-sided dolphins, and a fin whale.

On Monday afternoon, the trip started with a pod of ~40 Atlantic white-sided dolphins.

On Jeffreys Ledge, we ended up being surrounded by numerous humpback whales. These whales were busy darting around the area. Individuals included Jawa, Clamp, Pinball and her 2023 calf, Satula, and Dyad. During all the activity, there was even a minke whale that passed by.

The calm conditions continued on Tuesday and the ocean was full of life. On Tuesday morning, the trip began with a couple looks at a fin whale. While this whale was moving through the area, a small pod of Atlantic white-sided dolphins showed up.

Two ocean sunfish were seen followed by five humpback whales - Valley and her 2023 calf, Satula, and Pinball and her 2023 calf.

We also had a very special moment when Valley and her calf went from napping to full-blown aerial activity. Both whales breached multiple times! Wild animals are unpredictable and Tuesday's morning behavior was one of those moments.

Tuesday's afternoon trip continued with marine life to watch and gorgeous conditions to be in.
