Every trip is narrated by a naturalist affiliated with Blue Ocean Society, a non-profit organization based in Portsmouth, NH that concentrates on marine research, education, and conservation. You're actually part of a scientific research trip while you're out whale watching with us, as the naturalist and crew members are gathering valuable data regarding the behaviors, identities, feeding patterns, and locations of every marine animal we see.
Our boat is meticulously maintained, specifically designed for whale watching, and is the fastest in Rye Harbor. Although the majority of our trips take us to an area of the Gulf of Maine called Jeffreys Ledge, we will occasionally travel further south to Stellwagen Bank.
